I will embark on a marvellous journy delving into the injust death of Mary the elephant. In 1916 an elephant in Sparks Circus killed a new, inexperienced trainer infront of hundreds of people durring a parade in Erwin, Tennessee. What, exactly, this trainer did to provoke Mary can only be speculated. But regardless of this ambiguity, Mary was tried and sentenced to hang by the neck until dead, thus becomeing the largest thing in history ever hung to die. I will also briefly discuss the mistreatment and or deaths of other famouse elephants throughout history.
